Though firm enough to remover thicker tartar build up than the rosewood sticks, these sticks will snap if too much pressure is applied. This helps you maintain a safe level of pressure so not to put the pet under any undue strain.

These sticks will not damage the enamel of the tooth but as they are double ended, the pointy end can be sharp so please avoid using this end. Use only the flat end of the stick to avoid any risk of poking the gums.
